Created by the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, since 1967 the exhibition has offered artists from all over the world a unique opportunity to display their talent to key players in the sector who come to Bologna every year for the most important trade show for the exchange of copyrights for children’s literature.
2967 artists had submitted their works for the 2015 edition of which 380 illustrations by 76 illustrators, including three Iranians, were picked up for the exhibition.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Iran's Cultural Fairs Institute (ICFI) will support artists whose works have been chosen for the exhibition. The plan will cover a part of expenses for the artist’s trip to Bologna Book Fair.
The 2016 Bologna Children’s Book Fair will be held from 4th to 7th April.
As a representative of Iran, ICFI will be attending the event.
