Imam Khomeini's is a Unique Movement

According to OERP Public and International Relations, Hojjatoleslam Dr. Mohammadian spoke in a local ceremony held on the premises of OERP celebrating the great architecture and the founder of the Islamic revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, the late Imam Khomeini (RA). In his speech he said history has witnessed many revolutions and movements, none of which compare with the movement led by the late Imam.

He mentioned the aims of several domestic and foreign movements and uprisings and added that Imam Khomeini stipulated three aims of independence, freedom and an Islamic republic from the beginning and urged people to struggle for them.

He quoted some recollections by Shahid Motahhari having met Imam Khomeini in Paris as saying 'I saw how faithful he was to his ideals, to his approach, to the people, and above all, to almighty God'.

Mohammadian considered him as an instance of the verse of the holy Quran that reads, '(as for) those who say: our lord is Allah, then they continue in the right way, the angels descend upon them, saying: fear not, nor be grieved, and receive good news of the garden which you were promised' (Fussilat, 30).
