Indonesian Professors Visited Imam Reza Library and Museum

The group of Indonesian university professors, lecturing in Islamic sciences and philosophy, attended in the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (A') along with two officials of Tehran al-Mustafa International University.

These Shi’ite and Sunni pilgrims paid a visit of the central library and different museums of Astan Quds Razavi including visual arts, aquatics, astrology, dishes, and Razavi Holy Shrine history treasuries and made familiar with a peerless collection of Iranian culture and history.

Hussein al-Kaff, leader of the Indonesian group recounted the goal of this scientific trip to Iran as passing a 20-day course in Tehran al-Mustafa University and said regarding the central museum, "Collecting and preserving these works with such an ancientness was amazing and interesting for all members of the group.”

"The magnitude and extent of museums of Astan Quds Razavi marks the Iran ancient civilization and culture and authorities’ attempt and attention of this center to culture”, he remarked.

Referring to the elegant burial chamber and golden inscriptions put on show in the museum of Razavi Holy Shrine history, he said, "Display of old objects of the Holy Shrine in this place is really impressive and admirable.”

Leader of the Indonesian group viewed the handwritten works of the central library amazingly exquisite and added, "This cultural place holds a very beautiful architecture and assigning such a big area to a library is remarkable.”

Referring to the active presence of the youth in the central library of Razavi Holy Shine, he said, "That the Iranian young generation attends to studying and research is very pleasing since by such people the Islamic Iranian civilization continues to grow.”

It is notable that a group consisting of nine Indonesian professors and two officials of Tehran al-Mustafa University visited the central library and museum of Astan Quds Razavi and made familiar with capabilities of this grand complex.
