Indonesian Researcher Underlines Importance of Quranic Education at Early Age

Speaking to IQNA, Professor Amani Luis, who was in Iran to attend a Quranic studies conference, added that in her home country, Indonesia, children start learning the Holy Quran from early on so that they can better develop their Quranic skills.
She also noted that Indonesia, which is the country with the largest number of Muslims in the world, attaches importance to Quranic activities.
Amani Luis, who teaches at the University of Quranic Sciences in Cairo, Egypt, further referred to her Quranic activities, saying that she has published various articles on Quranic studies, women’s rights in Islam, etc, in English and Arabic.

She has also translated a number of Quran interpretations by Egyptian scholars like Zaqlul Najjar and Kariman Hamza.
During the international Quranic conference in Tehran, Amani Lusi was honored for her Quranic activities and studies.
The conference was held on the sidelines of the 32nd International Holy Quran Competition of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
