Secretary of the Conference Alireza Negahdar told the inaugural ceremony that the Conference aimed to review the groundwater resources, water and environment, management of drinking water and treatment of the waste water, low rainfall, overpopulation, drought and water crisis management.
He said that the Conference will hold expert meetings, scientific workshops and the provincial dams will be inspected.
he said that the Conference will also raise the tourist attractions of Ardabil province.
He added that professors from France, Turkey and England have participated in the event.
