He added that primary education is compulsory and free of charge according to law and it has a nearly complete coverage for all school children across the country. He insisted that these facts help this level of education to be more efficient. Mohammadian further said that adding 5 hours of Koranic and religious studies to the curriculum of grade six has taken place in this regard.
He also mentioned that regrettably there is no gender parity between students and teachers in Greater Tehran where approximately %85 of primary school teachers are female and this can generate problems in grade six boy classes.
