Mohammad Javad Dehqani further remarked that Iran’s ranking of science production quality has taken an upward trend, adding that in 2010 Iran’s raking was 21.
He said although the information of 2016 has not been completed yet, however study of the information of other countries shows that up to March 11 Iran’s ranking is 15 in the world.
As for science diplomacy, Dehqani said if a research work is conducted by more than one country it is science diplomacy, adding that Iran’s research studies which have been completed with the cooperation of at least one other country is taking an upward trend.
He said in 2010 Iran’s science diplomacy of the total research works of the country was 18 percent which figure increased to 20 percent in 2013.
The official noted that in 2014 the country witnessed another growth and 22 percent of the research works were published with international participation which shows an increase of 4 percent compared to 2010.
