Iran 5th engineer trainer in world: VP

“While the Iranian geniuses are not rewarded decently in their own country, they are easily noticed by foreigners who recruit them,” said Sorena Sattari, Iran’s Vice-President for science and technology and the President of Iran’s National Elites Foundation on Tuesday.

The official made the remarks on the occasion of the ninth seminar of the “Genius of Tomorrow” in Tehran.

Rouhani's man of science lamented that while the educated human resources are the source of wealth production in many countries, the etiquette has not been established in Iran.

“Currently we have 32 million workforces of 20 to 30 ages in Iran in addition to 4.5 million university students, who are opportunities to be taken advantage of,” ascertained Sattari.

He also boasted that the Islamic Republic is the 5th trainer of engineers in the world having even more female engineers that the US.
