Iran actively present in Cuba International Book Fair

About 70 Cuban publishers showcased over 3 million volumes of books and publications, including 916 new topics.
In addition, 317 publishers from 37 world countries were present in the event, including Uruguay which was the guest of the exhibition this year.
The exhibition, after Havana, will be set up in a number of provinces for a few days and finally will end up its work in the last eastern province on April 24.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has been present in the Havana Book Fair since 2010 and this year it allocated its stand to the presentation of books with religious, philosophical, political, art and children subjects. It also put on display posters depicting the geography of the country as well as its tourist attractions.
Given that Iran was the only Muslim country attending such a great cultural event, its stand was outstandingly welcomed by the visitors, especially researchers and Muslims in Cuba.
In the 22nd Havana Book Fair which was held in 2012 the Islamic Revolution book authored by Dr. Jalaleddin Madani which had been translated into Spanish was unveiled.
Kambiz Sheikh Hassani, Iranian Ambassador to Havana, visited the Iranian stand and talked to a number of visitors.
