Iran attends IASP conf. in Moscow

The global innovation conference of IASP was inaugurated in Moscow on Sep. 20 under the auspices of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP). An Iranian delegation led by Vahid Ahmadi, deputy head of research and technology at the Ministry of Science, and comprising a number of directors of Iranian science and technology parks, is participating in the four-day event. 

The Spain-headquartered IASP is the largest worldwide network of science parks and areas of innovation, uniting technology parks, business incubators and institutions, and it has a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Moscow is hosting the 33rd annual IASP Conference for the first time, while Turkey will host the next IASP in Sep. 2017.

Over 1,500 participants from around 70 countries are participating, including technopark representatives from Russia, the US, Spain, Britain, Brazil, South Korea, China, Sweden, Iran, among others.
