Head of Iran National Carpet Center Hamid Lolagar and Chairperson of China Tibetan Carpet Association Wang Jingping signed the agreement in Tehran.
According to the agreement, different cultural and scientific meetings will be held in order to introduce cultural aspects of carpets to both Iranian and Chinese people.
The Chinese official described Iran's hand-woven carpets as well-known and popular all over the world.
She further called for continuation of cultural relations between the two sides.
