Iran Culture Week opens in Almeria

In his speech, the Iranian envoy expressed delight that the culture of his country was being displayed at the museum. He reiterated that art was the best way for nations to exchange their views and get a correct understanding of other cultures.

He said the Islamic Republic of Iran and Kingdom of Spain with their ancient civilizations and history have been the cradles of science and art, playing an influential and everlasting roles in the history of arts in the world.
Also speaking at the opening ceremony, Iran's cultural attaché to Spain Alireza Esmaili referred to cultural commonalities between the two countries and thanked the officials of Almeria for their cooperation in organizing the event.
During the event, besides screening several Iranian movies, paintings of Shahla Moazzezi, enamel and engraving works of art by Ali Asghar Mirzakhani and calligraphic works of Mohsen Soleimani would be displayed.
Almeria is a city in Andalusia, Spain, located in the southeast of Spain on the Mediterranean Sea.
