An Iranian delegation of scientists, researchers, and university officials met with the officials of the two major universities of Singapore, the NUS and Nanyang, on Tuesday and signed a memorandum of cooperation on areas of Nano-technology and transferring of experience.
Iranian delegation comprised Deputy Health Minister and the Head of Nano-Technology Department of Tehran’s Medical Sciences University Rasoul Dinarvand, President of Sharif Industrial University Mahmoud Fotouhi, Hassan Naderimanesh from Tarbiat Modarres University, Secretary of Special Committee for Nano-Technology Saeed Sarkar, and President of Islamic Azad University Pharmacology Faculty Seyed Mehdi Rezayat.
Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore are the country's two main public universities which are among the top 50 in the world, with a total of 3,896 academic staff, 51,685 undergraduate students, and 18,986 postgraduate students.
