Iran, France to cooperate in adobe architecture

Based on a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by head of Cultural Heritage and Tourism Research Center Seyyed Mohammad Beheshti and director of French International adobe Structures Center of National School of Architecture of Grenoble Terry Joffery, both sides will have mutual collaboration in educational, research and technical fields.

Both sides will also share views on maintaining adobe structures and using clay materials in joint meetings and conferences in both countries.

Fortifying adobe architecture, optimizing clay materials, undertaking joint anthropological and archeological studies and research activities for technical development of adobe architecture and publishing books and articles on the accord's subjects are among the other items of the deal inked by the two countries.
