According to Public Relations Department of Performing Arts General Office, cultural weeks are held with an aim of introducing Iranian theater's capacities and stepping up presence on the international scene.
Organizing meetings, educational workshops and exhibitions are among the programs of the Polish cultural weeks in Iran. City Theater will host six Polish stage plays and one street play as well as one Iranian play during the week.
Holding a panel discussion involving Polish theater critics and Iran National Institute of Critics as well as a photo exhibition featuring works by the Polish director Grutovsky are among other programs of the cultural week.
