Iran, Hungary ready to cooperate in science projects

In the meeting at Tehran's Saadabad Palace Complex, the two sides agreed that Budapest-Tehran scientific cooperation which had halted for a few years needed to be restored properly.

Sattari said that Iran has benefitted both from very precious natural resources and a noticeable number of highly educated human capital which have hand in hand led to the establishment of many new scientific, technological companies, science and technology parks, and scientific institutes and the government supports such activities.

The Hungarian minister of human resources, appreciating Iranian hospitality, said that the ground is paved for scientific cooperation between Iran and Hungary.

'Hungary is ready for sharing its experience in such fields as agriculture, healthy food production, and campaign against cheating in food industries,' said Zoltan Balog.

He also announced Hungary's readiness for establishment of a Joint Financial Fund, expressing hope that it will contribute to bilateral scientific cooperation, including exchange of technicians and university students.
