Iran inks nanotech agreements with foreign universities

Secretary of the Asian Nano Forum Conference said nowadays the Iranian researchers have proved their capabilities in nano technologies to the world.

Farshad Shirazi said the conference, which was held in Kish Island from March 8-11, was aimed at creating a suitable opportunity for scientists to share views and pave way for international cooperation in the field of nanotechnology.

He pointed out the latest Iranian and foreign state-of-the-art technologies put on display during the event.
The main theme of the conference was 'Nanotechnology for Society', which was organized under the auspices of Asia Nano Forum Organization.

The conference focuses on nano medicine, nano safety, nano energy and nano environment.
Workshops on nanomaterials in blood, hemocompatibility concerns, new nano and bio subjects in environment, advanced nanostructured membrane technology, atomistic simulation in environmental systems, nanocarriers, spectroscopic methods in biological nano researches, concepts and methods of cellular investigation for nanoproducts and nanotechnology used for drug delivery held during the event.
Asia Nano Forum is a network organization dealing with nanotechnology and covering 15 economies in the Asia-Pacific region. It is headquartered in Singapore.
The forum's mission is to promote responsible research and development of nanotechnology that educationally, socially, environmentally and economically benefits each economy by fostering international network and collaboration.
