Hamid Ahmadzadeh said that this equipment is very sensitive and complicated used as the brain of a power plant.
He added that so far governors used in all power plants across Iran had been imported but for this first time a domestically made equipment has been used in Azad dam in Kurdestan.
He added that the product was a joint project undertaken by by industry sector and Sharif University of Technology.
Governors determines working capacity of a power plant, percentage of aperture openness and speed of work.
The equipment is part of turbine accessory equipment and is very sensitive and its engineering know-how and design was in hands of a few foreign companies.
