Aban 13, falling on November 4, marks the seizure of the US Embassy in Tehran in 1979 and is a national day in the Islamic Revolution. Today is also known as the Student Day in Iran, marking National Day of Fight against Global Arrogance.
A large number of people, groups of students in particular, are marching from the University of Tehran to the premises of the former embassy in Taleqani Street.
Each year, demonstrators gather outside the building of the former US Embassy, also known as the “Den of Espionage,” and chant slogans against the United States
