Iran, Nakhichevan to promote cultural, tourism cooperation

Eastern cultures enjoy common historical backgrounds in various fields including in traditional customs and ceremonies, the Nakhichevan minister underlined.
Meanwhile, Iran’s attache, Mansour Ayrom said that Iranian cultural, artistic and touristic institutes are ready to promote mutual cooperation in all fields of interest.
He suggested that the two countries may reciprocate in holding the approaching Persian New Year ceremony in Nakhichevan city and in the Iranian border cities of Jolfa and Poldasht. Persian New Year will start on March 20.
During the meeting, it was also suggested that the two countries help each other in renovating historical and cultural sites, set up children festivals, traditional and local food festivals and other programs. They also agreed to exchange art groups and participate in each other’s festivals and art programs.
