Iran plays effective role in development of science, global knowledge: Serbian academic

The memorandum was signed by Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Serbia, Mahmoud Shalouei, and dean of Teacher Training Faculty of Užice in Serbia, Snežana Marinković.
In remarks before signing the MoU, Ms. Marinković praised Iran as a country with brilliant civilization that has a significant impact on the global development of science and knowledge. He said scientific and educational collaboration and exchange with Iran will bring great benefits to Serbia.
Meanwhile, the Iranian attaché noted that the cultural exchanges will result in development of scientific principles and promotion of friendship and kindness.
According to the MoU, Shalouei said, the two sides further expand their cooperation in the field of Persian language training courses, cultural events and artistic establishment, development and strengthening of scientific and library resources, academic and student exchanges and so on.
Being the country’s most important Teacher Training Faculty, the faculty was established 92 years ago and is located in southwest of Serbia.
Earlier, the Iranian cultural attaché had also signed agreements with Novi Sad Faculty of Philosophy, Belgrade School of Applied Arts and Belgrade linguistics high school.
