Iran to put sat. into APSCO galaxy

According to the organization, Iran's proposal for putting an Iranian satellite into the orbit of APSCO satellites galaxy has recently been approved.

Iran proposal was presented to the 10th APSCO Summit in Istanbul, Turkey, in 2015.

In March 2016, Iranian Space Agency for International Cooperation announced that Iran and seven member states of APSCO are planning to jointly design and build a remote sensing satellite.

APSCO, headquartered in Beijing, China, is an inter-governmental organization established in 2005 and dedicated to promote and strengthen the development of collaborative space programs among its Member States including Iran, Bangladesh, China, Mongolia, Pakistan, Peru, Thailand, Indonesia and Turkey.

Since 2010, the organization has defined 10 projects on designing, building and launching light satellites, middle-class satellites weighing 500–600 kg, research satellites, remote-sensing and telecommunications satellites.
