Iran ranks 7th in world, 1st in Middle East in nano-tech

Speaking in the 6th International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ICNN) which is underway in Karaj, Sobhanollahi said that due to the added value of the new technologies, countries which are pursuing development plans should pay more attention to the nanotechnology sector.

He referred to nanotechnology as a revolution in human life, saying that according to the country's macro policies which focuses on target-based researches to attain nano achievements, universities are required to pay due attention to this particular field of technology.

He added that creating suitable context for research, providing required opportunities to get nanotechnology achievements and exchanging knowledge are among factors necessary for nanotechnology development.
