The documents were signed by the high-ranking officials of Iran and South Korea on Monday in Tehran in the presence of President Rouhani and President Park.
The documents were in the fields of maritime transportation, cooperation in oil, natural gas, refinery and petrochemicals, water resources, development of electrical energy and new energy industries, fishing and aquaculture, science and technology, higher education, declaring 2017 as the year of culture and the establishment of the Korean Cultural Centre in Tehran and the Iranian Cultural Centre in Seoul, cultural, scientific and educational exchange programs, ports development, healthcare and medical sciences, cooperation between Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran and Ministry of Health and Welfare of South Korea, and South Korea's Export-Import Bank, mutual legal assistance in criminal matters, extradition of criminals, cooperation between Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran and Commercial Insurance Company of South Korea, technology, cultural and creative industries, the framework of cooperation agreement, and administrative cooperation and mutual assistance in customs.
