Iran, Surinam scientific, technological cooperation will improve

Director general of Science, Research and Technology Ministry's Office for Policymaking and Planning Khosro Piri and director general of Suriname Education, Sciences and Culture Ministry's International Cooperation agreed to develop scientific and technological cooperation.
Suriname official said that although his country has gained independence from the Netherlands since 30 years ago and boasts of valuable resources such as oil, gold and bauxite, it is at the beginning of long way in technology and requiring Iran's cooperation.
He said that Iran is capable of training his country's academicians in the field of modern technologies such biotechnology, biotechnology, oil and petrochemical.
Piri voiced Iran's readiness to transfer scientific and technological experience to Suriname, believing that the country can serve as a good market for the Iranian knowledge-based products.
Suriname is a small country on the northeastern coast of South America.
