According to the Ministry of Education's Information and Public Relations Department, Mr. Gholamreza Karimi said that about 9 embassy schools are active in Iran, while we have 10 international schools and 48 special schools for foreigners and more than 480 thousand foreign students study in Iran, which makes Iran a top ranking country in the field of education to foreign students.
The president of the international affairs and foreign students said that Iran is the only country that, under the high-level emphasis of the Supreme Leader have taken the full responsibility of foreign students education, including those who are licensed and those without legal authorization, where we have about 436,000 Afghan students studying in our schools.
He continued : "The Islamic Republic of Iran's schools abroad, especially in terms of the appearance of the situation are the same as domestic schools."
Deputy Minister and Head of the Center for International Affairs of the Schools Abroad, said: "Currently, more than 13,000 students in 67 countries and 110 cities are studying in Iranian schools abroad, and we are trying to manage the Iranian schools abroad as we do here at home."
