Iran, Turkey keen to expand academic cooperation

Farhadi said considering scientific level of the two countries, which are close to each other, possibility to create effective cooperation is prepared.

He added that exchanging professors and students, establishment of joint higher education centers, implementation of joint research plans and creation of science and technology parks and knowledge-based companies could be done in the framework of scientific cooperation.

Sarac said that the two countries cooperate in many fields with each other and in higher education there were many joint MoUs, which should be strengthened.

Referring to Iran's position in world scientific ranking, he expressed pleased for Iran's scientific progresses and said that both countries have known universities and joint cooperation could help scientific growth in both nations.
