Iran University to cooperate with two German universities

Masoud Shafiei on his trip to Germany met with the two universities' officials, exploring avenues for mutual cooperation.During a meeting with the Chancellor of Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied Science, Ralf Stengler, the Iranian official explored avenues for cooperation ranging from organizing joint English language course, training courses for instructors of Iranian University of Technical and Vocational Training by German instructors and holding joint seminars.
Hochschule Darmstadt University of Applied-Science is a state-run university ranking fifth among the 300 German universities of applied sciences.
Meanwhile, Shafiei talked with officials of Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences in a meeting attended by the university's vice chancellor Kiras Kastell.
Shafiei proposed holding joint course in one of the widely-applied disciplines in Iran and Technical and Vocational University can serve as a regional center for Frankfurt University in neighboring states.
He called for cooperation between the two universities to nurture manpower and technicians.
