"The 13th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics was underway on August 2 to 10 in Hungry where Iranian students managed to grab 7 silver medals and 3 bronze medals," said Enayat Salarian, Deputy at Iran's National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents on Saturday.
According to Salarian, the Iranian team seized 1 gold and 3 silver medals in the 31st International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) which kicked off on August 4 in Baku, Azerbaijan, Iran press reported.
Iran ranked 4th in the team category in the International Olympiad in Informatics.
Official delegations consisting of more than 600 pupils, teachers and experts from 88 countries and regions, have participated in this event.
