Iran wins awards in Inventions Olympiad

Iran’s national team won one gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze medals and 2 special awards in school students section and 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in university students section.
In school students section, Nastaran Nasirian grabbed a gold medal and the World Women Inventors and Entrepreneurs Association (WWIEA) award, Mohammad Parsa Ghasemi and Alireza Hashemi won silver medals and Yasaman Hosseini and Toranj Abbasi received a tie bronze medal.
Kimia Golparvar and Yalda Savari, Saba Gholami and Diana Parchami won 2 tie bronze medals and Sajjad Ahmadi also bagged a bronze medal individually.
In university students section Mohammadreza Majidi from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences won a silver medal in healthcare innovations and Ali Keshavarz Bagheri, PhD student from Islamic Azad University, got a bronze medal.
The members of the national Iranian students team were selected from the best participants of the Avicenna National Student Festival which is the greatest student event across the country attended by 5200 students from 31 provinces.
International Inventions Olympiad was held from August 10-12, 2018 in the South Korean capital, Seoul.
