According to the Public Relations of the Film Festival, the selected works of the art event will compete in three parts: film, documentary, and drama. Four hundred and sixty six Iranian filmmakers have sent their works to participate in the International Film Festival, whose works will be reviewed by the Board of Directors. There are 124 works in the student's section, 137 works in the cultural sector and 13 in the student's department of science sent to the secretariat of the forty-eighth Roshd International Film Festival. The Educational Research and Planning Organization of the Ministry of Education will host the forty-eighth International Festival of scientific and educational films from November 16 to November 23 at the Tehran's Palestine Movie House.
