Speaking to IRNA at the signing ceremony, Chancellor of Bahonar University Mohammad-Ali Taher further said that the university had also inked MoUs in the research sector with other European universities.
He said that based on the MoU with University of Bordeaux, the two universities will exchange graduate students and conduct joint courses.
Taher underlined that the agreement calls for organizing short- and long-term courses in Persian language teaching, holding workshops and joint seminars, exchanging professors, conducting joint research and cooperating in publishing books, magazines and encyclopedias.
The agreement puts forward five plans to introduce Iranian-Islamic culture to the world, Taher said.
Bahonar University is one of the biggest universities of Iran with more than 14,000 students majoring in 298 courses at the bachelors, masters and PhD levels.
