Iranian-Islamic Culture Introduced in Kuwait Int’l Book Fair

According to the public relations of the institute, the exhibition was opened on November 18 in Kuwait’s Venue of International Exhibitions.
This edition of the book fair has been held with the participation of publishers from 508 countries including Iran, England, America, and Japan.
A 24-square meter area has been specified for Iranian publications presented by Al-Huda Institute, which represents Iranian publishers, in cooperation with the Iranian Cultural Center in Kuwait.
The opening ceremony of the book fair was attended by Sheikh Salman Humoud Al-Sabah, Kuwait’s Information minister, Ali Al-Youha, secretary general of the country’s National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, Alireza Enayati, Iranian ambassador as well as a number of eminent figures and scholars.
Precious copies of artworks including calligraphy and miniature by prominent Iranian artists have been put on display at the exhibition.
There are also products and photos introducing Iranian tourist attractions, and translations of poems by Khayyam and Hafiz.
Introduction of Iranian publications and boosting cultural relations between the two countries, particularly in the field of translation and publication of the precious works are the objectives of the institute’s participation at the exhibition.
The international book fair will run until November 28.
