In revealing ceremony, the chancellor of Tehran University, number of professors and officials from different universities as well as Ministry of Science, Research and Technology will be present.
Work on Sorena 3, which is the third generation of Iranian-made human-like robot, started three years ago with cooperation of experts with Tehran University, Sharif University of Technology, Khaje Nasir Toosi University of Technology, Tarbiyat Moddares and Shiraz Universities.
Speed of Sorena 3 is almost 10 times as fast as the previous 2 generations and it has different abilities such as crossing obstacles, on line control, climbing up stairs and or down steep surfances, on spot u-turn and interaction with human beings.
