Iranian scientist, Nobel laureate work on molecular behavior

Iranian scientist Ali Esfandiar, from Department of Physics of Sharif University of Technology based in Tehran, in a joint project along with A. Keerthi, A. K. Geim, A. Janardanan, S. A. Dar, I. V. Grigorieva, F. C. Wang, B. Radha, A. P. Rooney and S. J. Haigh managed to publish a paper on one of most complicated issues of nano-physics.

The paper was titled Ballistic molecular transport through two-dimensional channels and published on June 20, 2018 in Nature International Journal of Science.

Andre Geim, a Soviet-born Dutch-British scientist, who won the Nobel Prize in physics in 2010, was also among the contributors to the paper.

Gas permeation through nanoscale pores is ubiquitous in nature and plays an important role in a plethora of technologies, reads the opening of the abstract.
