Iranian senior advisor, Indian vice president discuss cultural ties

The meeting was held in New Delhi on the sidelines of an international three-day conference on Iran studies which began in the India capital on March 1 (Wednesday) with the participation of 140 Persian language scholars from Iran, Tajikistan, India and Afghanistan.

During their tw0-hour meeting, Haddad Adel and Ansari exchanged views on various issues including promotion of Persian Language in the Indian Peninsula which rooted in two sides common cultural and linguistic commonalities.

They also discussed the issue of terrorism and ways to counter it in the west and south of Asia.

Haddad Adel invited top Indian officials to visit Iran to become more acquainted with the country’s advancement in various fields and discuss expansion of cooperation between the two sides.
