Iranian studies room to open in Spanish university

During the signing ceremony attended by dean of Linguistics Faculty, the university’s instructor of the Persian language Nazia Barani was assigned as the chief of the Iranian Studies Room.

According to the agreement, the entity was established to promote academic activities and researches on Iran and create a site to introduce Iran to the Spanish.

University of Salamanca is the oldest university in the Hispanic world and the third oldest university in the entire world still in operation.

Concurrent with signing the agreement, Iran’s Cultural Office presented 200 volumes of books on Persian language and literature, history and culture to help launch the entity in the university.
