Iranian university students share problems with Malaysian official

Their problems included bank accounts, unjust discriminations, and prolonged education period due to lack of laboratory equipments which were shared with Professor Asma Ismail here on Saturday.

The meeting held to mark the Student Day in Iran was organized by Scientific Counselor of the embassy Abbas Qanbari Baghestan which was also attended by two Iranian professors living in Malaysia who emphasized contribution of Iranian students to advancement of science.

Ismail promised to follow up the problems raised in the meeting including the ones regarding opening bank accounts and discrimination in registration.

There are about 5,000 Iranian students in Malaysia who have achieved feats in their studies too.
