Iranians stand against powers with language of logic, diplomacy

At 23rd leg of his provincial tours, President Hassan Rouhani along with a number of his cabinet members arrived in the province of Mazandaran capital Sari at the north of Iran on Monday morning.

Upon arrival in Sari airport, the President was warmly welcomed by several local officials and delivered a speech in the city's main stadium among hundreds of people.

Rouhani praised Iran's nuclear diplomacy and said the Iranian nation stood against the world powers with the language of logic and diplomacy, and was able to achieve a historic, magnificent deal with the world powers.

“It is an honor for us that the power and resistance of Iranian nation forced UN Security Council to reject the illegal and cruel resolution passed against Iran," he underlined.

The president said Iran has now entered a new chapter with the help of its young people to prove the world that it could once again achieve a great victory with the language of logic and diplomacy, like what it did during Imposed War.

Touching on the arrival of the month of Muharram, President Rouhani said the Islamic Revolution owes victory to Muharram.

“Iran could gain good results during eight years of Sacred Defense utilizing the culture of Muharram and resistance.”

He expressed hope for the future of growth and development of Iran. “We are after holding talks to attract investors in the country; now 50 major international companies are in Tehran and hundreds of international investors travel between Tehran and other cities.”

President Rouhani also expressed sympathy with the families of victims of Hajj tragedies in Mina and Mecca and said, the government will pursue the tragedy through diplomatic, legal and political approaches.

“Iran is seeking to sue the culprits behind Mina tragedy through diplomatic, political and even legal methods.”

In addition to Iranian pilgrims, he said, many pilgrims from other countries lost their lives in the land of revelation under terrible conditions and many Muslim countries are still missing a lot of bodies in Saudi Arabia.

He added that wise and insightful position of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the government's efforts are commendable in dealing with Hajj tragedies.
