The education minister said at the ICT summit that the education system in the Islamic Republic of Iran with 99% of primary education coverage and more than 85% of secondary school enrollment, covering more than 96% of girls at school, and the same proportion of gender education between boys and girls which is about 49 to 51 percent, and providing equal access to foreign students makes Iran's education one of the most comprehensive educational systems in the region and in the world.
