Isfahan Univ., Seoul Univ. to launch scientific, educational cooperation

The agreement was signed in Seoul by Chancellor of Isfahan University, Houshang Talebi, and Chancellor of Seoul University, Sung Nuk, as Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Mohammad Farhadi, Iran's Ambassador to Korea, Hassan Taherian, Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology for International Affairs Hossein Salar Amoli and the envoy of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in east Asiaa Youssef Hojjat were present in the meeting.
Under the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in granting scholarships, establishing the course of language and literature in other universities, providing study opportunities, and holding joint scientific, research and technology exhibitions.
Having signed the deal, the two sides expressed their stances on expansion of the two-way scientific and research cooperation, especially in the field of research.
The two sides will under the deal share experience in research and technological projects.
Farhadi had arrived in South Korea at the head of a delegation to visit academic centers in Seoul and meet his Korean counterpart.
Farhadi and his entourage will leave Seoul for Japan on Saturday to take part in the conference of science and technology in Kyoto.
