Isfahan University of Arts signs nine MoUs

Sayyed Mohammsd Amin Emami told IRNA on Sunday that the MoU has been inked with Universities like China Nanjing, Russia Saint Petersburg and Chelyabinsk Muthesius Kunsthochule, Germany Freiburg im Breisgau, Berlin, Sulaymaniyah University of Iraq, Islamic National University of India and International Islamic University of Malaysia.

The MoU aims at reinforcing scientific and cultural relations, professor and student exchange, inviting foreign professors and artists, sending Iranian artists abroad, holding different exhibitions inside and outside the country.

He said that Isfahan University of Art cooperates mostly with Freiburg im Breisgau University of Germany.

Art University of Isfahan (AUI) is a public University in Isfahan, Iran. It operated under the name of 'Farabi University' before 1978, then it became a campus of the University of Art (based Art University in Tehran). It was separated and became independent in 1999.

The university owns some of the greatest houses in Isfahan, mostly of the Safavid period. The university's buildings are spread out over the city, most of which are old historic sites such as David House, Martha Peters House, Haratian House, Sookiaas House, Haghighi House, France School and Ayyoubi and Melal House.
