Islamic Calligraphy Exhibition Opens in Dubai

The International Institute of Dubai Holy Quran Award has organized the exhibition in cooperation with the Dubai Culture and Art Authority.

Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry is hosting the exhibition on the sidelines of the 20th edition of the international competition.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Ibrahim Bumilha, head of the organizing committee of the competition, Sa’eed Muhammad Nabude, deputy of the Director General of Dubai Culture and Art Authority and Khalid Al-Jallaf, Chairman of Emirates Arabic Calligraphy Society.

A number of Emirati artists and winners of top ranks at national and international competitions have presented their artworks at the exhibition.

The 20th edition of Dubai International Holy Quran Award started on the 7th day of the holy month of Ramadan and will continue until the 18th day.

The participants compete on the memorization of the entire Quran.

Mojtaba Alirezalu represents Iran in this edition of the international Quranic event.
