He further said, 'in 1978-9, anti-arrogance movements were getting aware of a new wave of combatting the dominance system that would challenge the dominance itself. With the slogan of 'no east, no west', the new experience of the Islamic revolution joined neither the imperialistic nor the communist camps.'
He insisted, 'to guarantee survival and persistence of the Islamic revolution and to continue the independence and freedom of the nation, this very revolutionary identity based on Islamic and national values must be preserved.'
