The Islamic Republic's definition of "education" is unique

According to the Public Relations and International Affairs of the Organization for Research and Educational Planning, Dr. Mahmood Amani Tehrani, during a meeting with a group of foreign cultural scholars, by referring to the National Curriculum on Transformation and Development as a roadmap for the development of textbooks and a brief overview of the history of the development of the document on the fundamental transformation of the educational system, said: "Since 2004, a great move has been launched to produce documentary documents in Iran, as before that the Iranian educational system was based on or adapted to Western philosophy. philosophy of education, inevitably has to do with the philosophical worldview and the value system accepted by educators in every society. Therefore, no philosophy of education and its content can be spoken apart from the worldview of that society, although in the course of judgment, the theoretical content of any philosophy of education should be tested with a benchmark of reasoning and rational examination.

The philosophy of education of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a compilation of the result of the rational effort of the Muslim philosophers and the masterminds of the country about what, why and how to educate and rely on the intellectual foundations and accepted values of Islam and the rational and accepted philosophical foundations. This is a set that explains the foundations of ontology, anthropology, epistemology, values, and theology, under a series of metaphysical assumptions (propositions) of theories, goals, policies, content, methods, and other educational elements in a system.

Therefore, the first document of ‘Islamic Education’ was written with the basics of 1. Hysterology, 2. Anthropology, 3. Psychology, 4. Psychology, and 5. ‘Religion’.

There are different definitions in the field of education, behaviorists have provided a definition, and cognitivists have a different definition. But the definition of Islam from education is inspired by the verses of the Holy Qur’an and hadiths, particularly by Surah Nahl.

This goal is achieved in six areas: 1- Religious and moral education 2- Political and social education 3- Physical and biological education 4- Artistic and aesthetic education 5- Economic and professional education 6- Scientific and technological education.”
