He said that in a period of 12 years, the number of students has reduced from 18 to 12 million. About textbooks he added that 130 copies of textbooks have already been printed so the books for the next academic year are now ready to distribute.

He provided further information on the employees and said that in addition to 976 thousand working personnel there are 750 thousand retired teachers that in spite of being covered by Civil Servants Pension Organization, they still view themselves as members of education family.

On the importance of ministry of education in supplying labor infrastructures he said that human capital is known as the most important capital in the world and this is also an indicator of development.

He also remarked that %90 of schools work normally and only %10 are working in two shifts. Providing some statistics he suggested that quantitatively speaking educational justice is currently acceptable nevertheless the key strategy is to improve the quality of education.
