The lack of paying attention to Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Space is damaging for students

The head of Center for Planning and Information Technology of the Ministry of Education Mahdi Sharafi on the verge of the holding of The 25th Iran International Electronic, Computer & E-Commerce Exhibition (ELECOMP 2019) said: the slogan of the coming ELECOMP Exhibition is “The Better Future”. “The Better Future in terms of information technology means offering needed services to people. The education system should activate all its capacities to play a role to meet this goal”, Sharafi added.

Sharafi noted: at the current world, IT, cyber space and computer systems, have the first say and if students suffer from the lack of familiarity with them, this issue will be damaging for sure.

Elsewhere Sharafi said: within the framework of Fundamental Reform Document of Education (FRDE), using information technology is of high priority. In this regard, the Ministry of Education should pave the way to meet this goal.
