Legend of Four Brothers Published by OERP

The Legend of Four Brothers has been published by School Publishing House, a unit of Office of Bureau of Educational Technology and Publications.

The book narrates an Iranian legend about four brothers whose father addresses them at the last moments of his life, reported Public Relations and International Affairs Office at Organization for Educational Research and Planning (OERP).

He tells them, “I tried my whole life to earn a halal daily bread for you, but now it is time for me to take the journey to the Hereafter. I expect you to listen to my advice. I worked for many years but I could not leave you worthy assets; but you go and search for the best spring to get them.”

The four brothers set out on a journey to find the best spring and each falls in an interesting process.

On the back cover of the book is written: "It is said that one day a young man thought about his old age; hence, he sat in a corner and created this legend.”

The Legend of Four Brothers, penned by Mohammad Mirkiani, features a simple and fluent prose. Costing 50, 0000 Rials, it is available in 84 color pages in the School Publishing House bookshops.
