Loot Desert registered as the world cultural heritage

Deputy Head of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Mohammad Hassan Talebian said that Loot Desert file, which was prepared in cooperation with several governmental and academic bodies, was registered as the world heritage by consensus of participants in the UNESCO conference.

This is the first Iran's natural heritage in the world list.

Loot Desert has an area of more than 40,000 kilometers and located between three provinces of Kerman, Sistan-Baluchestan and Southern Khorassan.
The hottest point on earth is in this desert.
