Mashhad to host int'l forum on great Iranian thinker

Rouhollah Eslami, technical editor of the forum on millennium anniversary of the birth of Khajeh Nezamolmolk-e Toosi invited researchers from across the world to send their articles on the ideas of this Iranian philosopher in English, Persian and Arabic.

He referred to the role of 'Prince' written by great Italian thinker Niccolò Machiavelli, 'Levijatan' by English philosopher Thomas Hobbes, 'The Spirit of the Laws' by French philosopher Charles de Montesquieu and 'The Art of War' by the ancient Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu in the world politics and said that 'Seyr-ol-Molouk' (Behavior of Kings) written by Khajeh Nezamolmolk-e Toosi represents Iran's political philosophy compared to those books.

Khajeh Nezamolmolk-e Toosi, the prominent Iranian minister who lived in the eleventh century has written several books on politics which provide advices to kings and rulers such as the Siasat Nameh (Book of Politics) and Seyr-ol-Molouk (Behavior of Kings).

Khajeh Nezamolmolk-e Toosi's mausoleum building is located in Isfahan Ahmadabad region on Darolbatikh Street.
